Fake Brides
I find this topic on the reality television show "Bridalplasty" to be very discussable. In my opinion however, a woman, furthermore a bride, should be valued for much more than what this show entails. Plastic surgery is used to alter the natural appearance of a person to look different then how they really are. Why would an engaged woman need to alter her appearance to impress others or even herself?? Her future husband should be happy with the woman he is engaged to and she should be happy with what he loves her for. Similarly, i feel very strong against the whole plastic surgery ideal to enhance women. True beauty comes from the inside and shows through on the out.

I agree with you completely. A women shouldn't have to go to extremes to change how they naturally look to feel beautiful at her wedding. Like I said in my post, obviously their fiance likes them for who they are in the first place so why should they feel compelled to completely change their appearance? I just don't understand shows like these!
I love your post! I completely agree with the fact that it makes no sense why a bride, who is already engaged, would need or want to change for their husband who already loves her for who she is. Bridalplasty definitely portrays a very bad image of self esteem that woman should not have.
I had the same point about impressing their future spouse with their image. I mean really that's the best they can do? It can't get much worse than this but who knows, I'm sure reality T.V will surprise us yet again in the future with an even more useless show. Nice definition of beauty as well.
