Shows like Auction Hunters, Storage Wars and American Pickers I think appeal to many people that like deals. One guy from Auction Hunter's states "I found a 100 year old Lionel Train set in a unit I only paid $1 for it!" They talk about getting all these things for an extremely low amount of money. People are also going back to the past and seeing old things, and wanting them because they resemble our past. It's also nice to know that you're buying something for less than you know it really is.
