Treasure Hunting

Quite honestly I think the main audience for these show is older people or people who love antiques and collecting things. Maybe i just think this because I am not interested at all in these types of shows. I think they try and make it funny so its not so boring. Many people like to see what is "floating" around out there such as an old motorcycle. Shows like Auctioneers of cars are targeted toward men but the show Pawn Queens is toward women. They reach out to the audience by getting and showing things that people would want themselves. I never though about this being because of the economy but it very well could be, however they sell the objects they get for very high prices therefore wouldn't correspond with the economy. I have no idea really what makes these show interesting because i don't find them interesting. I do remember watching Pawn Queens once with my mom and a costumer was trying to see his old Vespa and let her ride it. She ended up falling and it was hilarious. Maybe that's why people watch it because they make it commical.
