Treasure Hunting reality?

I have noticed that there is progressively more treasure hunting reality TV. Shows like American Pickers, Auction Hunters, Desert car kings, and my favorite, storage wars. These shows focus on individuals gambles in order to turn a profit. Unlike Pawn Stars however, they have to go to different people and places; where Pawn Stars has the people come to them. These shows are like gambling because there is very little known about many of these gambles. We the viewers tend to not only learn from these shows, but still remain intrigued by each episodes bizarre twists.
