Treasure Hunting Shows

I think everyone gets somewhat of a sense of thrill when treasure hunting. Or even at the thought of finding buried treasure or something of worth. The imagination goes crazy on this subject. It could be getting something for free makes us feel good. Almost everyone when they were a child loved the pursuit of possibly discovering treasure. It could be that the fantasy has been put off until one stumbled upon a show that this is actually happening. Once they see the show, all of these memories and fantasies start to flood back into their mind no matter how old they are. It probably does have some to do with the personalities of the host, but I feel like these shows are so attractive more so because of the items that are brought out of the dark. People interested in history might also enjoy these types of shows because behind every treasure or item their is a story. Most of the most interesting items are the ones that are extremely old and unique.

You make a good point about the inner child in us getting a thrill from watching treasure hunting shows. I also enjoy the older, more antiquated items that are discovered.
