Trash to Treasure

Shows like "American Pickers" has generated a rather large audience for such a simple concept. There seems to be a fascination about finding unique items in what some could mistake for trash. Personally, I find these shows more interesting than they should be. I was hooked on the show "Pawn Stars" which showcased numerous historic items which translates into a major concept of American Pickers. There are many fascinating items out there that can be found in trash. Who knew? It sure beats watching a bunch of drunkards act like idiots. Shows like these will never go out of style because they will always generate a genuine interest from the audience.

Yes, I think people love to see what they thought would be trash is actually worth a lot of money. It just takes the right person to find it like the guys on American Pickers.

I agree with how you say it can be a good show to watch to get away from the drunken idiots shows. While the drunken idiots shows can be entertaining to watch, sometimes I just want to get away from it for a little bit.
