In the previous episode, Mr. Jenks follows the rapper, Jermaine Coleman, and sees the reality of being a rapper. At first, all Jermaine did was party his butt off and not give a damn about anything else but getting some from the ladies. Jenks called him out and they got into an argument. So Jermaine showed him the dark side to being a rapper. He took him to his gang down in Miami, the people who caused him to get thrown in jail for over a decade, and illustrated to him the hard life he had to live off of. He had to watch his back every day, commit countless crimes, and live off a poor money supply in a bad neighborhood. Jenks was pretty damn scared of this reality Jermaine has daily. Rappers weren't all about partying and getting some booty. Jermaine raps in hopes to grab peoples attention about these rising situations in the bad neighborhoods where he lived. Jermaine has been helping the poor in his neighborhood and he hopes to help spread more help to the surrounding ones. Jenks helped us visualize the meaning to this genre of music. Its to help us realize these problems, Like Jermaine's ones, nowadays.
