World of Jenks

I watched a clip of "World of Jenks" guest stars Maino, a rapper. Maino in the beginning is shown as a family man who loves his son dearly. Jenks then confronts him about his drinking, cursing and vulgarity that he uses in his shows. This was totally 180 degrees from how he was portrayed. Jenks then spends a lot of time with Maino to learn about him and understand him. He finds out Maino was in jail for 10 years which he says changed his life. He uses his music to encourage those on the street so that they don't stay on the street. Jenks then goes into the hood with Maino to learn about where he came from and learns why Maino is the person he his.

World of Jenks Episode

Maino escaped the hood and the bad things that accompanied it. Jenks thought he was just moving with a rapper but soon learned that he was more than that. Maino is a father and loves his family and wants to help others.

MTV shows that they can be responsible with this show. It is inspirational and more meaningful then Jersey Shore.

Seeing behind the red curtain really shows you that no matter how famous someone may be, we are all human, with a past and a present, making the most to survive in this temporary world.
