The audience that sister wives is for is not directly aimed in any one, the shock value of this program can be enjoyed form a young girl or guy, to any adults. Girls next door is what i can see a young male or female teen dreaming about.

sister wives
As similar as one might expect the shows of sister wives and Girls next door, i feel as they are not. In Girls next door the relationships are ones of a strange bond that hugh has, there is no relationship of marriage really, more like one of fun times with good company. In sister wives there is a marriage like relationship which i think is demeaning to each wife there. Each having there own cooking area and apt? I cant say if these wives are truly happy in just a short clip but hughs girls are working/ having fun, a different role entirely.

I agree completely they are not the same show even though the concept seems the same.
i definitely think that it's demeaning to the wives in Sister Wives, and the fact that they each have their own apt make them seem like they're not even real people. And I do agree with the fact that the audience for girls next door is younger people it is a kind of "fantasy" world that they may be dreaming about.
