I think that there should be a new awards show on either MTV or VH1 satirizing the lameness of reality tv shows nowadays. The show would be hosted by Will Ferrell and Seth Rogan so regardless of the successfulness of the ceremony at least we will get a few laughs. There would be the following categories.
-Biggest bitch out
-Most two faced contestant
-Biggest low blow
-Most random hook up
This would definitely be a hit.

I kinda agree because the Emmys are something that are meant for people who have worked for their acting career their entire lives. Now reality TV is acting of some sort it is not on the same levels as things like movies. But since reality TV has become a part of our society today they should be recognized as well.
This made me laugh. I completely agree with both Emily and Brain. Reality Television has become one big joke. "Real" people don't live their lives like Snookie and The Situation, or Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. These people have no talent, and they've probably never worked a day in their lives, why in the world would we award them for something like that? Besides the fact that they're already becoming household names and raking in ridiculous amounts of money, the last thing they need is to be taken seriously, especially in an award show with such dignity as the Emmy's. In a society where there are people who risk their lives everyday and who make an actual difference in the world we live in, I just don't understand why we pay so much attention to the drunken idiot stars of todays most popular reality television shows.
