Mama Drama
I don't think Teen Mom has necassarily glamourized teen pregnancy. They have shown how hard it is to be a parent when you are a teenager throughout the episodes. They even give the story of a couple who decided to give their baby up for adoption and how hard it was for them to do that. When i watch the show i definitely don't think to myself that i want to get pregnant because honestly their lives seem miserable. i'm sure the network does things to enhance the drama that comes out of the show but even without the drama being a mom at 16 doesn't sound all that appealing to me.

People don't watch that show and say, "I want to get pregnant!" It is hard for a 16 year old with limited opportunity for a job. It will only work out if the parents were rich. A 16 year old mother can barely stay in school because they have to take care of a kid. No one wants their life to be put on hold at such a young age.
