Wife Swap

The show definitely relies on sterotypes to draw in viewers. They pick two families that seem to be total opposites of one another and switch the wives to make it more dramatic. Nobody would want to watch the show if the families were exactly the same. I've seen the show with a rich family and poor family, christians and aetheists, black and white. The show relies on the stereotypes people associate with these groups of people because they automatically think that they are going to be completely different.
