Teen Mom

I don't quite understand why MTV couldn't show Snookie getting punched, but in this show they allow the audience to see all the fights and abuse. Mostly it's the girls toward the guys, but still. Why should they be able to show girls beating up guys, but not guys beating up girls. I really just don't understand it. I guess this show helps people see what it's like to be a teen parent, but then they have a couple that put their kid up for adoption and now they are just following them around. They are no longer really party of "Teen Mom" and I'm not sure how their relationship completly relates to the topic of the show.

I had completely forgotten about how MTV had blocked out the part on Jersey Shore when Snooki was punched in the face. However when it was first aired they did actually show her being punched, but eventually they blocked out the scene due to it's content. Maybe they will do the same with the scene on Teen Mom when Amber was physically abusing Gary.

This is a good point Adam about what violence MTV is willing to show and what they must censor. That's something to think about.
