Wife Swap. Kind of a funny concept
Wife Swap actually was somewhat entertaining and just different than alot of the other reality shows I've seen recently. The idea of taking to mothers from different backgrounds, locations, living conditions, ethnicities and more is pretty entertaining. Its interesting just to see how different two people can be from just different sides of the USA. East coast and west coast people, the way they live. People from different religions, people from the country city, desert, mountains, and just little things like this make it interesting. I'd say the audience for this show can really range. I think older people would like this at times but some wouldnt find it entertaining and the same goes for teens. Its obviously not for really young children as it wouldnt entertain them but it has a pretty wide audience. I dont think it really has a "purpose" because I dont really think any reality show has a "purpose" but it is a little more interesting than something like a MTV jersey shore or real world. I also like how the show doesnt feel totally staged and seems somewhat real.
