Wife Swap
I feel like every show is exactly the same. A rich wife moves to a poor family and a poor wife lives with a rich family. It might be entertaining for a while but it gets old after one or two episodes. The poor wife learns how to mange money and her family better while the rich wife learns what it is like to poor and that not everybody has money. Sure it provides a good lesson for both these familys but I feel like as soon as the wifes go back to there homes nothing changes and they go back the way they were. It just seems pointleess to me.

I agree with you A.J. in a few things you named. Indeed, the show does give the same old plot with two completely different wives. Yes, they do learn a lesson on the opposite aspect but after the show, they probably do go back to their old lifestyles and forget their experience. I am guessing that this is due to them being greedy and the fact that they are only in the show for money reasons only. However, each episode presents two exotic and weird types of families to the audience. These family's lifestyles are so awkward that it grips the audience to keep watching more, laugh at these families, and stereotype these people.
